1. Overview

Welcome to Seacoast Fitness & Pickleball, where community meets movement and fun! We offer a full-service fitness experience with state-of-the-art gym facilities, group fitness classes, indoor pickleball, tennis, and racquetball—all designed to support your personal wellness journey. This Membership Policy outlines terms, responsibilities, and expectations to create a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment.

2. Membership Types

Full Access Membership: Gym access, fitness classes, pickleball, tennis, racquetball
Gym Only Membership: Gym access and locker rooms
Pickleball Membership: Court access, leagues, events
Tennis Membership: Court access, instruction programs, league play
Racquetball Membership: Court use, programming access
Class‑Only Membership: Fitness class access only (no gym or court use)

3. Membership Enrollment & Dues

  • Completion of Membership Agreement, liability waiver, and emergency contact form is required before access.
  • Monthly and annual payment plans available.
  • Memberships auto-renew unless cancelled in writing 30 days prior to renewal date.
  • Annual maintenance fee: $62, billed April 1 or October 1 depending on start date.
  • Annual contracts may cancel early with a $120 buyout.
  • Dues are non‑refundable (except approved medical relocation or hardship).

4. Guest Policy

  • Members may bring guests at the guest rate.
  • Guests must sign waiver and be accompanied by a member.
  • Restrictions may apply during peak or special-event hours.

5. Check‑In & Identification

  • Members check in using ID card or app barcode.
  • Replacement cards incur a nominal fee.
  • No card sharing—violations may result in suspension.

6. Court Reservations & Class Sign‑Ups

  • Book courts or classes via app or front desk.
  • No-shows or cancellations under 2 hours may incur booking restrictions.
  • Reservations limited to your membership tier.

7. Club Etiquette & Code of Conduct

  • Treat staff, members, and equipment with respect.
  • Clean and return all equipment after use.
  • Use headphones; no phone calls in courts or gym.
  • Wear proper athletic attire and footwear.
  • No harassment, discrimination, or aggressive behavior.
  • Violations may result in suspension or termination.

8. Hours of Operation

  • Club open 24/7.
  • Front desk staffed Mon–Fri: 6:45 AM–10:00 PM; Sat–Sun: 6:45 AM–8:00 PM
  • Members responsible for safe use during unstaffed hours.

9. Suspension, Freezes & Cancellations

  • Freeze requests (medical/travel) accepted for 30-day minimum, max 3 months/year.
  • Written notice required 30 days before cancellation.
  • Annual members may cancel early with a $120 fee.
  • All requests must be submitted to and confirmed by Member Services.

10. Health & Safety

  • Liability waiver must be signed before using facilities.
  • Facility use is at your own risk.
  • Report any injury or malfunction to staff immediately.

11. Liability & Medical Clearance

11.1 Assumption of Risk & Waiver of Liability
By entering the facility, all members and guests voluntarily assume the risk of injury or illness, including but not limited to slips, falls, equipment-related injuries, or health complications. Seacoast Fitness & Pickleball and its staff are not liable for any injuries sustained on the premises unless caused by gross negligence.

11.2 Medical Clearance (Recommended)
All members are encouraged to consult their physician before beginning any exercise program or class to ensure their health and safety.

Members acknowledge that physical activity carries risk. This waiver and release are intended to be as broad and inclusive as allowed based on standard industry practice.

12. Financial Responsibility & Default

12.1 Payment Obligations
Membership dues and fees must be paid per your billing plan. Membership continues until cancelled in writing. Outstanding balances remain the member’s responsibility.

12.2 Default & Collection Policy
Failure to pay dues or fees may result in suspension of facility access and referral to a collections agency. Members are liable for collection costs, including agency fees, court costs, and attorney’s fees. Late or returned payments may incur fees. In case of default, remaining balances may become due immediately.

13. Photo/Video Release (Marketing Use)

By attending classes or events at Seacoast Fitness & Pickleball, members consent to use of their image (photo/video) for marketing or promotional purposes, unless notified in writing to Member Services prior to exclusion.

14. Children & Youth Access

  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by a guardian, unless enrolled in supervised programs.
  • Youth access to equipment or courts may be restricted.
  • Under-18 members require parent or guardian waiver.

15. Privacy & Security

  • Security cameras operate throughout the facility.
  • Lockers available; avoid bringing valuables.
  • Member data is confidential and not shared.

16. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify this policy. Significant changes will be communicated via email, in-club postings, or our website/app.

17. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling, you agree to abide by all terms, rules, and expectations. Violation may result in suspension, revocation, or termination of membership.
