Since 1970, Great Bay Athletic Club has grown from a cozy tennis and seasonal pool hangout into the Seacoast's go-to fitness hub. Tennis is still going strong, with indoor courts that have hosted leagues, lessons, and legendary rallies for decades.

Building on a legacy of tennis and fitness, we’re proud to launch a vibrant pickleball community where players of all levels can connect, compete, and thrive. From expert instruction to exciting events, we’re creating a space where fun meets fitness - and everyone belongs.

Our Mission

At Seacoast Fitness & Pickleball, our mission is to inspire an active, connected, and vibrant community. Where every workout powers your potential and every pickleball rally sparks a smile. From premier training to casual play, we’re here to help you move, sweat, laugh, and thrive together in the heart of the Seacoast.

The club expanded in the 1980s by adding four racquetball courts, which became the centerpiece of a vibrant racquetball community through the mid‑2000s. Today, GBAC continues to honor this tradition with three functioning racquetball courts and one versatile sports court with a basketball hoop, available for play.

In January 2025, Harry Wesson became the new steward of GBAC, with a vision to broaden the club’s offerings. Already a successful local entrepreneur, the owner of Newberry Farms and Aroma Joe’s in Newmarket, Exeter, Greenland, and Seabrook, as well as Seacoast Pickleball in York, ME. Harry is all about blending tradition and fostering community with a new energy.
